Background
Bible in 90 Days Digital was conceived and produced just before the COVID era lockdowns began in early 2020. Originally entitled Bible in 90 Days Plus (B90+), Dr. WP Campbell (Founder-President of Scripture Awakening) wanted to offer an online option for people who wanted to read the entire Bible on a digital platform. This opened up and brand new opportunity for anyone with a mobile device to read the Bible, cover-to-cover, anywhere, anytime, leveraging the ease, portability, and flexibility of today’s modern and ubiquitous mobile tech.
So Dr. Campbell began writing daily Biblical commentaries that concisely explained the content of each of the Bible in 90 Days daily reading sections. This gave readers additional insight and understanding of the broad flow of Scripture covered in each daily reading (12 Bible pages of content each day summarized from a scholarly perspective). In addition to the Bible commentaries, he produced ninety, 1-minute synopsis videos that gives readers a ‘theme’ for that days’ reading. Also included were daily coaching tips, three ‘response’ questions, ‘impact statements for application, and a closing prayer. Finally, audio transcriptions for listening were recorded for those who wished to listen to the daily lessons.
All that to say this: the response to B90+ was so favorable, that users began asking if there was a print version of the B90 emails. There were enough requests to merit our ministry to undertake transferring the B90+ content into a large-format softcover manual. Originally titled the B90+ Bible in 90 Days Plus book, we created and published it for a short season. Following that, we had further requests for a smaller, simpler version of the B90+ manual. Fast-forward to 2025. We have refreshed the names, covers, and content of all of our Bible in 90 Days support resources. And thus the B90 Suite was born, now available in three iterations: The Bible in 90 Days Guide, Light, and Digital.
